Mood + Energy Supporting Recipes: Matcha Melody 3 Ways

Matcha. The ubiquitous green tea beverage, except this time it's also a superfood with maca and moringa. AND it's a mood booster, AND it nourishes the female reproductive system. Not to mention, it makes a killer latte that was sent by divine providence to be the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. Since we're baristas now over at Honey & Sage Co. HQ, we dreamed up some seriously phenomenal Matcha Melody lattes for ya'll to enjoy. Get ready to fall in love with green tea all over again.
HONEY COCONUT MATCHA
Honey & Sage Co. Matcha Melody
Ingredients:
  • 8 oz water
  • 1/2 tsp Matcha Melody
  • 1 tbsp local honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
Boil your water using your kettle or on your stovetop. Place all ingredients with boiling water into your blender, and blitz for 30 seconds. That's it. That's the whole thing. You can modify your honey quantities based on how sweet you like your tea.

ROSE WATER MATCHA
Honey & Sage Co. Matcha Melody
Ingredients:
  • 12 oz water
  • 1/2 tsp Matcha Melody
  • 1/4 tsp rose water concentrate
  • splash of coconut milk
Boil your water as preferred. Place all ingredients with boiling water into your blender, and blitz for 30 seconds. This one is going to be light, floral, and spectacular. Blend extra well and serve on ice for a refreshing and uplifting iced latte.
VANILLA ALMOND MATCHA
Honey & Sage Co. Matcha Melody
Ingredients:
  • 10 oz water
  • 1/2 tsp Matcha Melody
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract (it's super strong!)
  • 1 oz milk of choice
As always, boil your water as preferred. Place all ingredients with boiling water into your blender, and blitz for 30 seconds. Matcha is pretty simple, but the vanilla and almond add depth and luxury to your green tea and make it damn near a dessert. if you really want to get decadent with it, throw some local honey in there.
There's no wrong way to Matcha (except maybe right before bed because she IS a little caffeinated.) You can try other florals, like lavender, or maybe an iced latte with lemon. We'd love to hear what you've tried and liked. Oh and... YOUR REVIEWS MATTER!! We'd love to hear about your experience with this or any of our provisions. We're in this together!
